Sources and verification
We seek the original company, institution, authority, GitHub project or research publication. Trade media are used for discovery and supporting verification.
Single-source claims are labelled according to their scope. Specifications, price, availability and performance remain vendor claims until independently confirmed.
Independent coverage
We do not rewrite sources sentence by sentence. Each article receives its own structure, context, limitations and editorial conclusion. Images and video are used only with verifiable rights or official embedding.
Updates and corrections
Material developments are added to an existing story or covered separately when they form a new event. Modification dates are displayed. Demonstrable errors are corrected promptly and material corrections are disclosed transparently.
Use of AI
Automated tools may assist research, organisation and language review, but they do not replace source verification. The LAYERTIMES editorial team remains responsible for published claims.
